The
Taylor Ranch is a well balanced, very efficient cattle operation
situated between the Wind River, Gros Ventre, and the Wyoming Mountain
Ranges in Sublette County, Wyoming. Much of the ranch is comprised of
sub-irrigated creek bottoms that create exceptional wildlife habitat
and highly productive grazing for livestock. Preliminary reports
indicate that there are 1,300±
acre feet of water rights which have been historically utilized to
flood irrigate the lands in hay production as well as some irrigated
pasture. The 1,200±
acres of hay ground have historically produced as much as 1.5
tons of hay per acre. The balance of the ranch consists of grass and
brush-covered range that is watered by ponds, filled by runoff, and
seasonal drainages. The ranch has a very functional set of improvements

ranch has produced 20+ inch brook trout from Horse Creek and
trophy-quality moose, elk, antelope, and mule deer, most of which have
been taken on private ground. Rarely does an opportunity come along
