Ron Ensz was raised on a diversified family farm near the rural town of Marion in southeast South Dakota, where he developed a strong foundation in agriculture and land stewardship. He attended South Dakota State University and graduated in December 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Agriculture.

Before entering the appraisal and real estate industry, Ron dedicated more than 20 years to the Farm Credit System, holding positions in Minnesota, Colorado, and South Dakota. From 1990 to 2002, he served in management roles, leading branch offices in Belle Fourche and Rapid City. In 2002, he made a career shift into real estate brokerage and appraisal, bringing his extensive agricultural and financial expertise with him.

Ron owned and operated Kjerstad Realty Group for five years before joining Clark & Associates Land Brokers. He has been licensed in real estate since March 2002 and began working in real estate appraisal later that year. In 2008, he earned the Accredited Rural Appraiser designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, further solidifying his professional credentials.

With a deep understanding of farm and ranch properties across the region, Ron brings valuable knowledge and experience to every transaction. He is licensed in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana, and is a certified general appraiser in South Dakota and Wyoming.
