Shane Baum grew up outside of Elizabeth, Colorado, where his family raises cattle, trains Quarter Horses, and produces nationally recognized team roping events. He attended Central Arizona College on a rodeo scholarship before graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business.

With a lifelong passion for production agriculture, Shane’s journey began with hands-on projects at CSU and grew into building his own commercial cow/calf operation in eastern Colorado. His professional background includes sales experience as an Account Executive for ProEquine Group and later as a top salesman for HatCo Inc., where he honed his customer service and transaction management skills — qualities he brings to his real estate career, particularly in agricultural properties.

Shane’s transactions include irrigated farm ground, water rights, pasture ground, and residential acreage. He also manages farms in eastern Colorado, where his responsibilities include negotiating leases, enrolling farms in crop insurance programs, marketing commodities, and navigating USDA Farm Service Conservation programs such as CRP, EQIP, CSP, and emergency relief initiatives.

Known for his integrity, work ethic, and creative energy, Shane brings these values to every real estate transaction. He is currently licensed in Colorado and looks forward to serving the needs of buyers and sellers across the region.
