The 2026 Youth Dummy Roping event, held alongside the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo and proudly presented by Clark & Associates Land Brokers and Rodeo Rigs, brought together young ropers and their supporters for a day full of excitement and skill.
Recognizing the Champions
The highlight of the day was the announcement of the division winners, each awarded a coveted Gist buckle as a symbol of their achievement.
The winners were:
6 & Under: Audie Witty
Ages 7–9: Connor Clark
Ages 10–12: Laken Griemsman
Looking Ahead to 2027
With the success of the 2026 event, organizers are already planning for an even bigger and better Youth Dummy Roping in 2027. These plans aim to build on the strong foundation established this year and ensure the event remains a highlight of the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo.
